Internet and the Law

Julie Turcotte |9 janvier 2024

École en réseau, in collaboration with Éducaloi, offers a network project introducing 3rd cycle elementary students and their teachers to the basics of using the Internet and social networks.

More and more schools and families are encountering situations related to children's Internet usage, and it can be difficult to navigate through them. This project provides an overview of prohibited online behaviors (threats, sharing intimate photos) and proposes action plans for when a child is a victim of online harassment.

The video conferences will take place on Teams. Classes will be invited to use Padlets between meetings. During the video conferences, the AhaSlides application will be used to facilitate interactions.
