Scientific Dialogue : Engineers of the Future

Gabrielle B Durand |16 février 2022

Theme : Engineering

Facilitator and partner: Sophia Roy, Chemical engineering undergraduate student, McGill University

During a scientific dialogue, students are invited to exchange with a scientist via videoconference. The themes are varied and come from the four PFÉQ universes. The scientists talk about the nature of their work, their academic background, their qualities and skills and, above all, they share their knowledge.

This activity allows your students to develop their scientific and technological culture, to be introduced to current scientific and technological developments, to learn about the ways of doing science and technology and to appreciate the scientific phenomena present in their environment and thus offer them opportunities to witness technological advances.

All science dialogues are 60 minutes long and are intended for students in all cycles of primary school.

To prepare for this meeting:

  1. Watch the presentation video of our scientist on the Padlet;
  2. Ask your questions to our scientist in the same PADLET

The connection link will be sent to you by email the day before the activity.
