Marie-Claude Nicole |20 octobre 2021

Scientific dialogue: Ticks - how they live and affect us
Partner: Kristen Crandall, doctoral student in ecology at McGill University

October 20, 13h20 to 14h20

Theme: Ecology (Living and material universe)

During a scientific dialogue, students are invited to interact with a scientist by videoconference. The themes are varied and stem from the four worlds of the PFÉQ. Scientists testify to the nature of their work, their educational background, their qualities and skills and above all they share their knowledge. This activity allows your students to develop their scientific and technological culture, to learn about current scientific and technological developments, to learn about the ways of doing science and technology and to appreciate the scientific phenomena present in their environments and offer them opportunities to witness technological advances.
